Hehe, I'm a dedicated Hot Topic shopper, it was bound to happen. XDAnyways, been wanting to do this for a while and finally got to. I wanted to add his G1 alt. mode (or maybe his mecha form) in the background, but by the time i remembered about it I had already started coloring. I'll still attempt it, and then repost this pic if I can pull it off.
The clothes are based of real ones I found online, all I did was change the colors:

Note: I will be working on a Prowl version too, and I've been commissioned (my first one!) by my cousin to do one of Bumblebee as well.
Edit: Tada, I managed to put mech Jazz back there! Moved the previous piece to scraps. Hope the pic looks better now! :3
Dunno how accurate Jazz's mech form is, I worked on it while at school with only my chibi-Jazz for some reference and the rest is memory.

Um, honestly, I'd prefer you not since the clothing scheme is supposed to match his mech form. You can do something similar if you like or change the colors and some pieces if you want since all the clothes does come from Hot Topic, but I chose the colors for it. If you do use it, some credit for the idea would be nice.

Try something relating to music; like I named my version of his sparkling Sync (Synchronize; you can find him in my gallery).
Just study the colours you're giving to the sparkling, it's style, and it's other parent. Look up music terms, that can help as well

I advise against Jazzy (and personally against the ability to be human since that's just Mary-Sueish, but that's my opinion and your choice). Maybe Tempo? or Accent? Iunno, but nothing too close to the parents' names.

Wow, I think you did a great job with his robot form! Especially since you did it from memory. My only crit would be that his waist seems a bit long and his legs correspondingly a bit short, but that could be a stylistic thing on your part.

but yea, i think the reason he may be off some is because i have this habit of turning the paper almost completely sideways. i can't seem to get the hang of drawing with the paper straight. and from the almost-sideways viewpoint i can see it as i want, but then i turn it straight and then notice the mistakes.

Actually, I think it works fine. Your human figures tend to be long in the body, I've noticed, so I imagine that that natural inclination is translating to drawing robots as well. It's cool. Everyone should have their own style, I think. Makes things more interesting. I'd hate if everyone drew TFs (or anything else) all the same way. Booooooooring!
Funnily enough, in the drawing lessons I've been doing, I found that if I turn the paper sideways I do better, too. Wonder why that is...?
