looks like this one monster i saw from a scroll with a bunch of yokai (japanese mythology monsters) painted on it. very creepy and awesome.

it looks like hes having a weird dream about being naked in a feild and hes suprised hes naked so hes looking down and he screamed his mouth off and he picked his mouth up and it ate his eyeball so the socket gres sut and now thats his expression on how he feels about being naked in a feild.

it reminds me a lot of Guillermo De Toro's Pan's Labyrinth, and the beast in the feast room that eats children....it gives me the same, uber-creepy vibe of it looking for me or at me...

Impressive. I enjoy your more serious pieces like this one more than your comics. It has some strong emanating forces. The eye peers downwards versus forwards looking away from the viewer. I think it seems almost like shame or possibly in midst of thought about its body that isn't shown. The background of trees is subtle but emphasizes the form of the body.

the more i look the more i like. the eye shape is unusual, but i think the figure would look weirder if it had its eye(s) the right way round. did you draw the eye first, then add the body, or the other way around? and i love the background. that's it, i'm faving this.

Anyway, followed your advice and I like it. It's something I would've imagined while listening to Akira Yamaoka's songs. If you could, could you make something inspired from the songs "The Last Opportunity", "Lisa Dies" or "Letters"? Either of the three is good. "Room of Angels" is brilliant as well. If you're not too busy, that is.
