|Critique|
--------------------------------

Vision: 5/5
Technical: 3/5
Imagination: 3/5
Originality: 4/5

--------------------------------
Summary:
First of all, this is a brilliant shot
A couple of things, Firstly, you've hit an incident where the mother goose mirrors the young duckling, (the stance i mean !) that itself scores you a lot of points for vision. And to Originality
Because I've seen shots like this, only the stance has always been ducks looking at some random direction and looking kind of lost hahaha
anyway, that brings me to my second pointer, the eyes of the mother aren't showing, I'm assuming it's just the colour of the mothers eyes that does that, since her head is full black. So that's not your fault, no points detracted for that but as i've mentioned before, the eyes give off a whole lot in animal photography and are rather important.

Ok. There is one problem I see with this shot, that is the the mild blurriness of the shot.
When you look at it while it's not enlarged, it looks fine. But I notice some blurriness in the shot on particularly on the mothers head, which is a bit of an eye sore when you compare it to the rest of the shot,
maybe because I'm constantly staring at this shot while I type hahaha.
but if you hadn't done that, you wouldn't have gotten the water at the back the cool effect you have there behind the swans, I think the blurriness makes the water look cooler

uhh.. I've made this way too long so I'll wrap this up quickly.
It's brilliant. The only improvements I can think of is the sharpness of some areas of the shot, but other than that, the colours, the stances of the two goose in particular, and the water sharp-to-blurry effect make it a great shot.

Somehow I think what I've said is rather obvious, but post it here anyway hehehe

--------------------------------
P.S. I'm totally gonna experiment with my structures on my critiques like this one with the format. hahah

heh they were both looking at me. They had been on the other side of the pond and as soon I got out of my car they took off for the other side, so I drove around to the far side, there was a really high bank on that side, so they didn't see me comming, I came over the hill and caught them completly by surprise, managed to snap this off before they got too far away but yes as they were swimming away as fast as they could they both kept an eye on me.

It is raining, it is cold, very cold. I can't seed my vegetable garden yet, the seeds would rot, just like last year. But it is good to be in country side at last.
Thank you!

Oh, Canada! It is so cold and we have bad weather since two years now... Last year, I lost almost all the vegetables from my garden and today, June the 11th, I haven't seed it still.
I see that is very bad for you too!

I'm actualy doing fairly well with the little flower and vegitable garden I have on my apartment balcony (I'll take a picture of it for you tomorrow) It's taken a lot of love and time... hot dry days cold and frost at night (In JUNE!!!!! for crying out loud) But yes the farmers are crying my moms garden is doing nothing. I talked to one farmer today who has had to sell off his whole cattle herd because he's not getting any hay growing, and the price of last years hay bales have quadrupled in price and he just can't afford to feed them.... Its going to be the summer of 2002 all over again.

This is too bad for the farmers! It must be a nightmare for them...
I don't remember the summer of 2002 because last year was the worse we had for a long time.
Today, we had some sun and a big 15C so I planted the tomatoes (42 plants), hoping that it won't freeze anymore.
My garden is about 2,000 square feet and I still have a lot to do, almost all of it. And the groundhog has uncovered her hole and eaten the new flowers I had to buy because of her: I asked somebody to put barb wire around the hole...
I will go to see the pic of your balcony if you have posted it, thank you very much!
