I love the paintings. I'm wondering why didn't you make the maidens flower closed off or not blossoming somewhat similar to the mother's flower.

Thank you for the comment! Actually, I considered making it closed off, but that implies immaturity. Instead I made the flower slightly less open. Each flower is progressive in the fullness of its bloom, it is just difficult to tell from the photo. I am planning on doing a God (possibly Cernnunos) version as well.
