When we were in London we went to see Into the Woods at the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre. In fact, thanks to continuously inclement weather, we went to see it three times before we finally saw the second act. But we liked it! It's one of my favorite musicals, and it was really cool to actually see it in a woodsy setting. There were some really interesting takes on the characters and costumes, and these are a few of them. (That Little Red on the top wasn't the on featured in this production, that was a creation of my own. The Little Red we saw was much more like the squat gal wielding that tiny knife just below.)

First we have the Witch there on the left, then a couple versions of Little Red, Cinderella with the slipper of course, then poor, traumatized Rapunzel, and there on the bottom sits little Jack.

They look so different from my head-cannon, wherein Bernadette Peters will always be the witch! I bet that was totally awesome, though.
The slotted spoon will not hold any soup! *nods sagely*
Lovely art!

Oh yes, it was VERY different from the version most of us are familiar with (self included). The cast was awesome though, and it was great to see a new take on the costumes and sets.
