For Day 17 of KHanuary, we’ll be bringing in the rest of the original members of Organization XIII in pairs, starting with members no.11 & 12, Larxene and Marluxia.

“You would knowingly shackle your heart with a chain of memories born of lies?” – Marluxia

“Have it your way. Thrice the pain for you means thrice the fun for me!” – Larxene

These two were among the Organization members sent to Castle Oblivion in CoM. In Sora’s story, Marluxia and Larxene were planning to overthrow the Organization by using Naminé to rewrite Sora’s memories and moulding him into their little puppet, even offering Axel a place in their plan. However, because of meddling on the part of Axel, who was given ordered to dispose of the traitors in Castle Oblivion, their plans fell through and Sora was able to defeat them both and save Naminé.

Because they are Nobodies, therefore lacking hearts, they hold no qualms about toying with others in cruel manners. Marluxia is portrayed as manipulative and egotistal, often speaking with a flowery and overly dramatic flair, fitting with flower petals following in his wake.
Meanwhile, Larxene is more cold, sadistic, and uncaring, taunting and teasing Sora in their first encounter, and taking her frustration out on him & Naminé when their plans fall apart.

It looks like these two will be making a comeback in KH3, as part of a newly formed Organization XIII, ready to toy with Sora once again in some way.
