Well, I'm still keeping up the drawing the squads from the Gem Labs thing because I have so many members of the Labs you wouldn't meet them unless I find a way to introduce them.

Gem Labs is where scientific Gems work for the Diamonds with similar rules to medicine cats in Warriors (eg you don't have to show as much loyalty to the Diamonds and can interact more freely with other Gems from other courts and exchange info a bit more freely. Even wearing the diamond insignia isn't completely necessary - it's still technically required, but most Gems treat it like an option!).
These guys are scientists (the two Gems on the left) and servants (the Gems on the right)!

Characters From (Your) Left to (Your) Right!:

Amblygonite: In the darker world of the Gem Labs, Amblygonite is actually considered pretty friendly. His biggest flaw would probably be his ambition—as soon as he got an idea for a new experiment or project, he would often throw himself into that with a sort of obsession. He often ignored the criticism of those around him whenever he did this, so he often did as he wished. His biggest achievement is creating Divinite, an artificial Gem who is the only one of his kind. So think an android...but for Gems. The only problem is, Amblygonite later disappeared from the Labs, and no one has seen him since. Some Gems theorize that his creation and apprentice, Divinite, got rid of him... But a "dead man", or in this case, a missing Gem, tell no tales.

Divinite: Divinite hardly responds to anything. He has a temper, but for the most part he remains passive and cold and aloof. His only interest is in his work, and he does research with his other lab partners for the Homeworld (eg my other Gem OC's Labradorite and Eye Agate). Divinite has no feeling when conducting experiments on other Gems, and has little emotional connection to anything. He prefers not to fight, but he can be rather ruthless in battle because of his lack of feeling (although he isn't much of a fighter).
After his mentor Amblygonite disappeared, Divinite was moved up in rank—leading to some Gems suspecting that he purposefully got rid of his mentor so that he could obtain a higher position.

*NOTE: Divinite is a Gem I made up for a contest that asked us to do exactly that! Make up a Gem. Hence his backstory of being completely artificial. You can find more of his story HERE or watch the YouTube video version HERE!!!!

Glass Pearl: Adopted from kat-eunhyeo as seen here ! Glass Pearl was originally Amblygonite's, and he allowed Amblygonite to do various experiments on him, which led to the loss of his limbs and the glass replacements (these experiments would later lead to Divinite's creation). Glass Pearl was originally okay with this though, as his owner cared for him and always told him not to let the judgement of other Gems get to him. But after Amblygonite disappeared, Glass Pearl was transferred to being under the ownership of the apathetic Divinite, and being already rather shy, most of the poor Pearl's confidence vanished. He's rather timid and often feels depressed, deeply missing his old owner.

Night Blue Pearl: Adopted from ari-gator as seen here ! Cold, efficient, and emotionless, Night Blue Pearl was the Pearl originally assigned to Divinite when Amblygonite was still around. She knows how hard life can be for a Pearl, and her main way of dealing with it is by turning off all her feelings. She prides herself on how quickly and smoothly she completes her tasks, and often judges Glass Pearl for being "overly emotional". This means that they aren't that close, and Glass Pearl is even pretty intimidated by Night Blue. This is not to say that she is cruel, however. Her coldness is her way of protecting herself, and perhaps over time, she and Glass Pearl can help each other; with him teaching her to be more sensitive and her teaching him to be more confident. But for now, she remains impassive to the cruelty of scientists around her.
