hi all~ long time since i posted. i've been swamped with work recently.no.. WE've (IFS) been swamped with work.
heck, swamped is an understatement even..
thanks to all u supporters thus far
anyway, i painted the cover for gi joe's latest series by Devil's Due.

took me a while to notice that that was a hand reaching for the guy. At first I thought it was just a large, shoulder armor, type thing. But you really don't see much contrast underwater, probably nothing the paint could have helped

I like your work a lot, but GI Joe glorifys war and this is a time when America is losing respect for vile, contemptable wars it has started. It's also like "Beetle Bailey" with a heroic spin.
GI Joe isn't just entertainment, it serves as propaganda for kids to join and right now it's not a health club that gives college money and keeps 'em out of trouble, it's a meat grinder that ruins many for life. You take your paycheck, but that money is taken from the sacrifice of american youth who's lives are messed up to enrich the millitary industrial complex.
Hey, you gotta pay the bills, but perhaps you could contribute anonymously to some anti-war 'zines?
Lots of 'comics 'zines' that use 1/2 size photocopy printing, I'm sure you could quickly do short comics for them quite easily, and lots of people could give you good stories. Everything from ex GI's giving stories of lousy 'millitary careers' to tracing cluster bombs from the factory to being caught in a tree to being an improvized land mine that horribly maims a child 20 years later. How 'bout recruiters who at one time were selective are now so desperate they give obvious "Stoners" those system-flush kits that they buy at 'head shops' so often the clerks know them by name?
