hello everyone! So it would seem that my first submission of 2016 is a painting I did last year. This is for Places artbook. (www.places-ab.deviantart.com)
This is a charity artbook to raise money for North Texas Food Bank. 100% of the profits will be given to them.

"Founded in 1982, the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a Dallas nonprofit hunger relief organization that distributes donated, purchased and prepared foods through a network of more than 250 Partner Agencies in 13 counties. As a member of Feeding America, they support the nutritional needs of children, families and seniors through education, advocacy and strategic partnerships."

Our task was to illustrate a place that we've been to or a place that we'll go that makes us happy. I've chosen to represent the beaches outside of my city (Portsea, Sorrento, Rye etc.) in my piece, since from when I was a very young age, these places have always offered a sense of serenity to me. Artistically, they're where I feel most inspired.

I would highly recommend buying the book to see the incredible works completed by the other artists. It's worth a purchase, a very high quality artbook for such a great cause! Get your hands on a copy <:

Hope to be doing much more artwork this year! I'm sorry for the lapse recently, I completed very little art last year but this year my resolution is to do much more and be more active here and everywhere else. Got a few ideas in the works that I'm keen to develop and share with you! Thank you for your patience and support, I'm very grateful!
