unalome meaning:
The unalome symbol represents the path to enlightenment in the Buddhist culture. The spirals are meant to symbolize the twists and turns in life, and the straight lines the moment one reaches enlightenment or peace and harmony.
hi everyone!
I haven't incorporated the symbol but I tried to include the shapes of this symbol (curly forms and straight forms...)
I'm back with an old drawing that I started last year. I've chipped away at it for a really long time, and I'm sure it shows. The last couple of years have been quite intense for me, so this artwork is really my attempt at trying to create a space that is safe, tranquil and calm. Every time I needed a bit of respite from the daily grind or other stressors I would take that energy and transform it in this piece to ground myself again, even if it was only ten minutes or so. I hope you feel a fragment of the peace I put into this work.

Ok, even before reading your description about that piece, i was already feeling happy. I really love how the sun reflects on her hair and spine. I think you did very well to put a beautiful mood in this scenery.
