This is a (slightly old) commission from around January 2016 of Cutie Honey (in her Re:Cutie Honey design variant) based on a fanfiction idea ofHoney shows Viluy the aftermath of the destruction she caused; the remnants of Tokyo sprawled before them.

Yup. Sentai's releasing Universe in July with Jessica as Honey. So amazing (and I hope I'll at least enjoy it more because that show was weak. The first half was great, the rest was like "Why is this still going?" lol

That is awesome! Thanks for the heads up. I hope it comes out on DVD and Blu-Ray. I've seen bits and pieces of Universe, and yeah, it seems very odd. I am curious to see how it all plays out, and a proper English cast would really help me get into it.
Now if only they'd dub Cutie Honey Flash into English and have a similar cast to the VIZ Media Sailor Moon English Dub. Then, I'd be truly happy

They made Cutey Honey and Hobo Honey as dark as Shadow the Hedgehog. The only thing I'm wanting to see is Cutey Honey do this:Β youtu.be/LUqfWqT25t4?t=46s Β It's such a weird aesthetic choice they'd make for one of the funniest characters Go Nagai has ever made but I guess it made sense in a standpoint because fans who grew up with the red head fencer have grown old so I guess this is much of a turning point. New fans and potential fans would actually be intrigued in all of this but funny enough,I always see Cutey Honey as a comedy action anime with fan-service as a tongue-in-cheek thing for the main girl but seeing that a LOT of animes are comedy based,I guess they had to pick the dark and edgy route for this live-action film..oh wait,LOTS of animes turned live-action are turning dark and gritty. -_- Ugghh..well I said before,Cutey Honey was dark and gritty in the past. Shin Cutey Honey and Cutey Honey The Live/555 by Toshiki Inoue were those examples of dark and gritty CH.
