I received a request from to do a picture of Roxanne from a Goofy Movie as a Mermaid. It took me a while to get to since I was already working on a project, but I love how it turned out. I enjoyed working with all of the colors and I tried to put more into my background this time. I hope that it turned out okay and that you like the final result!Related content

I think it looks good! Although I do think the lineart could improve; instead of all the line thicknesses being the same, they could carry more weight in some areas.
Also, the coloring doesn't have to be done with just texturing layers.
What program do you use?

Thanks. I agree about the lineart, and I'm working on trying to do those better. I pretty much drew it on a piece of paper and scanned it in then just colored. So, I should work more on working with the lines while I'm coloring.
I actually only used texture on her scales. I was going to do them by hand, but I was tired. I just use Gimp right now, but one day I'd like to get Photoshop.
