Description Top left: The Atlantic Islands: Faroe Islands and Greenland excluding Iceland, which is a special realm represented by the crowned falcon. Bottom left is the Danish realm, with the Swedish to its right. Center right is Norway and top right corner boasts the Karelo-Finnish realm. The three crowns in the middle is the state emblem of the United Kingdom, representing the original three kingdoms from the Kalmar Union. The deer is obviously the national animal and the Nordic cross is a traditional Scandinavian symbol.

i love this! i've always wondered what it would be like to have scandinavia united under one monarch... but i was thinking more in the lines of an empire... but this is wonderful! ;3

An empire would make a logical sense, however, I don't think i'd be in the Nordic spirit, and that a united kingdom the likes of which exists on the British Isles would be more likely.

ahhh...yes. makes more sense. having an empire implies that the subject groups have diverse cultures and the individual scandinavian states don't seem to have a huge divergence in culture - but i may be wrong though

again, wonderful work here. ;3

Very reminiscent to Canada and Great Britains coats of arms.

Would the UKS work in same way as the old German empire with multiple monarchs with one as head of state or just one monarch?

One monarch i'd presume

So what would happen if, say, Estonia were to join?

Good question. But why would it? What would happen to the Union Jack if Denmark joined Great Britain?

Doesn't Estonia have closer ties to Scandinavia than to the Baltics?

No, if you ask me, has it really?

Apparently so. Given that Estonians seem to prefer Finland and Sweden to their other neighbors.

You might also call the Nordic cross their little claim to Latvia and Estonia
