Damn there hasn't been a comment posted here since 2011. I feel like I'm disturbing a time capsule. But as a young teen, I agree. You do not fully understand yourself at such a young age. Give yourself time to grow.

Because that's the age you become (or start to become) mature. The years behind are the young years of childhood where we think of nothing. This is the age where we begin to know what finding ourselves mean. Even though I'm not 13.

It's very rare for that to happen(I know it happened to me and adults have told me that I pretty much found myself). Your heart's desires change, your mind set doesn't stay the same, and no one will ever finish discovering themselves because your life is blown about by the winds of change and chance. they make decisions too quickly

hmmm...Im sure there are a lot of 12/13/whatever year olds out there who have experienced a lot in their lives. You know, a young carer, or someone who had to fend for themselves. They might not make a big song and dance about it, but they would be a lot more emotionally mature and settled in themselves more than, say, the type who would laugh at a teenager for being 'angsty'.
Surely its a bit presumptuous (not to mention V patronizing!) to assume that every single teenager is the same, angst filled drama llama?

Honestly I am 20, I have not found who I am. All people can really do is gather, all the current data about yourself and assuming but assuming doesn't make it right either.

Now, your personality doesn't settle at 12. If anything it goes through a fuckton of changes and likewise your daemon goes through a fuckton of changes. I only settled for good just last year at 19. And I still haven't "found myself" entirely. I hope I never do because the chase is the best part.
