Description
I concentrated on the Rift of Skyrim with this update. The Rift itself is populated by the indigenous Riftonian Nedes, once the primary group of Men in this land, as well as the Nords speaking their local varieties of Nordic. To the west and the south, the Rift is bordered by the northern Jerall Mountains, home to more Nedilic speakers of southern Skyrim.
The White River flows through the Rift, first to the northwest, then turning north to bypass the mountains that cut the Rift from Eastmarch. These mountains continue east until hitting the Velothi Mountains, and the mountain folk of both mountain ranges share many similarities in their tongues.
