Description A commission for , featuring his characters Zerro and Suriyawong providing covering fire for a pocket of civilians they found as what was meant to be their air support gets repurposed as an evac transport.

I learnt a bunch doing this one, got to try out a new work flow and mess it up half way through, and learnt the importance of (the lack of) dynamic framing and composition and it's relation to the story you're trying to tell.

Awesome dropship design! The thrust exhaust reminds me of the MKV for some reason, I can imagine this thing making noise like that but much louder of course.

MKV is a multiple kill vehicle, no idea why it's called that but i think it's basically like drone powered by some kind of pulse rockets.

Well that thing makes a scary racket, but yeah it's meant to be similar, they're attitude thrusters for space that double as VTOL assistance, it's not very realistic, but it worked well to add some extra dynamics to the scene

Get to da choppah!!

Sorry... was watching way too many Arnuldh movies yesterday. Everyone has an evac scene in those films, without fail. Great work on this, how long does it take for you to do these images, the level of detail is perfect. Not too tight on areas of dynamic motion, and nice and sharp in areas of focus.

It was a strange one, it should have been done in 2 weeks but half way through i did a complete bonehead move and decided i was far enough into it to just flatten stuff down, and a few days later decided i suddenly hated the composition and wanted to change it up, so it ended up taking a month or so. Taught me that i should really fall in love with the line work straight away and if i don't then i'm gonna be looking at it a month later regretting decisions i could have made to make it stronger.
