I'm curious, did you use an armature or other sort of support system for the wings?

For this statue I used Castilene, which is self supporting, so luckily there was no need!

I wish there was. That is one issue I have with this sculpture, it is so complicated and time consuming to produce, I just couldn't make enough, quick enough.

Isn't it the truth! Who knows, I may do another HTTYD statue in the future, there are two more movies on the way. It was a pleasure to speak with you too, and I am sorry I couldn't help. It is kind words like yours that keep me going, it wasn't many years ago that I was questioning if I had done he right thing, by wanting to be a sculptor. Thanks!

I am almost done producing these statues. I can't wait to start a new sculpture, I don't know what it will be yet, but I should find out soon!
