Thanks! I am pleased with how hiccup turned out, but I am more happy with Toothless! His expression is similar to the first statue I did, so if I do another at some point, I want to try and capture a totally different expression!

Very true!
I have actually thought of doing some sort of small Terrible Terror statue!

Thanks! I wish it could cost less, but it is so time consuming making each sculpture, and the cost of materials is a bit high. If I get to do another for HTTYD 3, I am really going to try and make it cost less!

That would be amazing. Hope to take on sculpting eventually when have the resources and skills to pull it off. Maybe you have some tips for me. If you do decide to make a new one definitely let me know, I'll definitely have the money by than to buy one before they're sold out. Maybe a waitlist XD.

Definitely, if you feel like trying your hand at sculpting you should! The best tip I can give is just give it time, don't expect to finish a statue in a few hours. Also, while I now work in wax, I am happy I started with a softer clay first, just to get a handle on the basic techniques! I will be sure to!

Yeah I would assume just like any art form, good art takes time. Also what brand do you recommend to practice basics with? Also is self drying or oven drying clay better to use?

While I didn't start with it, I have seen a lot of great stuff made from Super Sculpy. Castiline is where I started, but it requires a few more special tools, mainly heat tools. I have actually never sculpted in air drying clay, so I can't offer any advice on self drying vs. oven drying clay.

I'll definitely look into both of those and see which one works out the best for me to start. Thanks for all the advice. You are amazing and keep up the awesome work!!!!!

Amazing work as always.
You might remember that I bought one of the original ones. I'm sorely tempted once again...
I have to ask how much shipping is because the site doesn't say. The last one had free shipping but that was a different company(?). I wonder why they changed.

Thanks!
I do remember! I am really happy with how the statue turned out, I am sure you wouldn't be disappointed!
I am not sure on the shipping costs, try and get in contact with them, I am sure they can help!

I totally understand, from what I have heard from other collectors around the world, the exchange rate is really hurting, mostly on the more expensive pieces.
Here is to hoping that I get to do one for Dragons 3!

Oh, never mind. I had to make an account then it showed the amount. Unfortunately I may have to pass on this one; the total is a bit steep for me at the moment (especially considering currency exchange rates at the moment).
