Mr.Snookums is not a Python. He is a Boa Constrictor. You see his sexy mustache? All Boa's have those. Well except for the albinos. Boa's tend to move in slow motion while the Python's move at a normal speed. But yush he is lovely.

um, you never saw my lovely boa move.Β Β She could move like lightening when she wanted to. Β Which generally goes for any snake when they're warm enough. I was going to ask what kind of boa is he?
And just FYI the biggest difference between boa's & pythons is their size and where their weight is distributed. Boas are usually long and lean with lots of mussel where pythons can get long (their larger cousins) but their weight is generally distributed in the middle, thus they can be very difficult to handle as they get larger.

He bit me once when I was feeding him. He is not poisonous though. He left a tooth in my skin. It was really traumatising.Β
