Description
Gift commission for elusiveCONQUEROR from the beloved Honeycrisp1012 !I spent a looooong time sketching those wings. Finally settled for a crow’s feathers since they are nice and rounded. I saw she had a couple different colors for her wings, so I colored the primaries yellow and the secondaries the light teal. Hope that’s okay!

I saw you commented a few times so I’ll address them in this one.
I drew out three types of feathers in different positions and finally settled on the more simple crow’s feathers. They seemed to fit her darker appearance, too! Wings are definitely challenging to draw, and there’s many many ways to draw them. I’ve a main OC that is a Pegasus, so drawing wings has been a year-round requirement. With a couple year’s practice, it’s made a huge difference!

Honestly, I have no idea how wings would snap to the body on a horse since they don’t exist in real life. Suggestion? Lots of fluffy down!
