One would think that with a light source obsession like mine I would have thought of doing something...with a big honkin light source. But nope...instead this guy came to mind.
This is Arates, pronounced like hercules. He is the light spirit from my book and the youngest of the six. Sadly he isn't even written into the story yet...well physically. He is a little physcho ands acts like Keraph's deranged little brother most of the time, running around screaming and all that jazz. Basically he controls light and different light waves and stuff, hence why the light bulb has the layers around it as opposed to a glow. Imagine the frustration of trying to shut up a screaming little kid...who is invisible! Mwaha...but he's not so annoying as he is abnoxious.

He has a light bulb! He seems to be pretty proud of it too. Random line: "Ara, put the light bulb down..."
I think he's the only spirit that has clothes that even remotely resemble a uniform of any kind...he usually has this awesome sythe thing, but it didn't fit in the pic. His eyes are supposed to be white, just to note. It wasn't untill I designed him that I realized that I have a thing for either white or red hair...he's probably my second favourite character in the story. He's kinda like the familiy baby because he acts like a twelve year old and all the others are so much maturer. Except for Ker maybe...
I can't think of anything else to rant on.
