If you want to be a hero, you need to have dreams.This also sat on my computer for months. The only thing was, it was done, it just had no background. As you can see I solved that issue well...
Frick Cloud is hard to draw... bloody pain. Sure you could just draw some pretty faced blonde guy and say look it's cloud, but to make it really look like him? Guh...
Anyways, I know some people make a point to do a fanart of any game they finish, particularily ones they really liked. Well Crisis Core friggin rocked, and anyone who says otherwise is knob. I know what you're thinking, crisis core... why not do Zack for a fanart? I dunno... I thought of this listening to the theme song, which is really emotional, I know I've cried during it a few times and I definitely bawled like an infant when I finished the game. And this is sorta the scene where the song kicks in... so there you go. And anyways there are elements of zackness in there...

Fits the title so well too... most of the other ones off the list are dumb.

Crisis Core sucked as a game but man I was TOTALLY sucked into the story; it was so emotional and faaaaaantastic. I love this picture, it has lots of emotion and just reminds me of the game so much. =]

I prefer Zack over Cloud however this looks so right. Zack is more of a humerous kind of guy
but when he gets sad he's sad. Although ur right, Cloud can hold the whole enigma thing alot

i've seen fanart done of zack in a wistfull sort of pose. I dunno, because he is more upbeat, it doesn't seem like him. He isn't wistfull very often, he doesn't wallow in angst either, he actually thinks things through... and finds a way to be positive.

I thought i was the only one who cried when zack died DX Its funny how cloud can barely walk to zack when hes dying but when he gets the sword somehow he can drag it and walk XD crazy Final Fantasy games

Cloud is a special awesome person to me (I don't care if people say he's 'emo' or 'angsty'
The somber colors and the fact its not cluttered with a background to distract from the character and his thoughtful expression are honestly what I truly love about this piece. Crisis Core was the first PSP game I ever bought (Actually, its the main reason I BOUGHT a PSP XD) and I'm glad to see it being so well shown here.
...and I really just have to say I love Cloud to itty-bitty-bits and it made me squeal to see you drew hiiiim ;;

I'm glad you like it, cloud is actually a pretty deep character once you take a step back and survey all he's supposedly done. I get a kick out of the fact that after CC he goes off to become an asshole, lol.

This is just a wonderful composition. And the title is just perfect "Embrace your Dreams." It really makes you get inside Cloud's head to realize he's thinking about Zack and that he's really going to try to honour his friend. (At least, that's my interpretation.) I have seen many good portraits and sketches and the lot of Cloud, but few of them actually capture an emotion like this. This is just one of those rare pieces that really speaks out, and I am definitely a fan of this!!! Instant favage! I hope this inspires more emotive pieces rather than just the profile or portrait views we're always used to seeing (of any fanart). Good day to you!

Haven't tried out Crisis Core yet..I wasn't much of a fan of Final Fantasy VII (GASP!). Is it really any good??

Crisis core is hella-fun. VII is dreadfull, unless you like fighting random enemies every 15 steps (literaly, i counted) and turn-based games... I had to force my way though it, and I'd kinda like those 3 years of my life back. But I had to know the story of course...guh.

Whilst the backgrounds simple I think it actually adds to it an awful lot. Dreams are a blank canvas before us to fill with what we want. The feather looks like Cloud has a quall to start writing his own story, ironic, as the next story is his. Or is it as his persona is to a degree infected with Zack. Nah not gonna get into that already gone deep and thoughtful enough with this comment lol XD.
But it's an awesome piece of work, and as you can guess from the comment very inspiring ^^.

I often wonder exactly what part of zack cloud adapted to himself... it may only have been physical strength because i can't see any personality traits transfers there at all...

Zack isn't very good at holding wistful and angst ridden poses. He would tickle himself with the feather, sneeze and fall of the cliff and the camera crew would be standing there wondering what the hell just happened.
