Time for Slytherin’s Head of the House, Severus Snape!
I guess you either like or dislike Snape in the Hp fandom, there’s not really in between is there? And while we can debate again and again about what sort of person he really was, there’s no arguing that the impact Snape has on Harry’s life and the story in general (and consequentially on ourselves as a reader) makes him one of the most important and memorable characters throughout the series -the books would not be the same without him for sure.
