I just HAD to do it!
I was so impressed by Stayne, the Knave of Hearts from Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland", that I desperately needed to draw him.
He definitely needs more attention from traditional artists. ^^I'm not even a big fan of the movie, but this character is just freakin' amazing. Ever since I saw the mysterious villain with long, dark hair and one eye, I knew that he would be my favourite.
And those who know me will perfectly understand, why I fancy him I have tried very hard to do him justice, since the quality of the reference photo was lousy and I had to make a use of my memory while drawing the details (or, let's face it, of my imagination). I hope that he looks at least a bit like Crispin Glover (

You did a very good job of capturing Glover's portrayal of Stayne. From the first time I saw the movie (which I simply love ^.^) I always found Stayne to be strangely attractive in a way that I find hard to describe...go figure

Yes, I am a Burton fan, though haven't seen all of his movies. My faves are "The Corpse Bride" and "Nightmare before Christmas", so defenitely those in the dark mood.
