One of these days I'll finish this picture when I'm not so busy. siigh. But here's a small portion of it, with a bit of color added to help it along. I'll be selling prints of it if you'd like one.Open Acrylics on mdf board, with photoshop.

This is beautiful! She (or he), looks like Yfandes from The Last Herald Mage series by Mercedes Lackey.
So much detail and none of it looks out of place or proportion. Β The color is fantastic, simple and complex all at once.Β
How much do you charge for prints? Β My six year old daughter is in love with Fantasy horses and she's got a birthday coming up ^_^
Also, I was wondering if you charge to use any of your line-art or tutorials as a reference point?
I'm writing a kids book about "PegaHorns" for/with my kids and I'm going to attempt to illustrate it as well. Your tutorials on how to draw horses are very helpful, especially with proportions which is my biggest issue with anything I draw. Β I'm getting better but animals have a tendency to end up looking more animated than real more often than not. Β
Anyway, had to ask, I love your work and have no intention of stealing or misusing any of it. Β

Yep I'm a fan of Lackey's writing and Jody Lee's art.Β As for prints generally it's just $10.00 plush shipping.Β As for charging it depends on how its used. You can't copy right a pose, so technically if you drew your own version based off my tutorial I have no claim on it. However it'd probably be better if you altered it enough that it didn't look like a direct copy.Β Best bet is to take some photos of horses, or use reference from stock photos that allow commercial use and draw from them
