Cel Shaded Pinup Commission for of her original alien character, Seven from her story, Seventh Ring.Loved doing this commission for Quaylak , as aliens, mechanical parts, and clubs are right up my alley. Plus come on, sexy male characters, plz.
But also since Quaylak has been going through a ton of personal life shit for awhile, being able to help cheer her up, means a lot!

Thank you, Forsaken! I colored the older one with a mouse, but still had done all the line art with a pencil on paper and scanned it in (just like with this illustration, too). So just the coloring was done with a mouse back then. I have too much trouble trying to draw with my tablet so I still draw everything on paper first even now! OTL But yup, it's always great to see that I'm improving over the years. I'd hate to know I've grown stagnant. ;___;

He turned out so gorgeous and I just love his expression, pose, and the "club" lighting! You always do such a beautiful job with his arm and paying attention to all his details and anatomy and such. That certainly shows here and it's fun to look between my old Seven/Ari commisson you made and this one and see your improvement in just a few years! It's awesome.
Thanks for taking this on for me and doing such a great job with him. He's currently looking sly and smouldering as my new desktop wallpaper, haha. Ari is totally next!

What kind of a robot fan would I be if I skimped out on that robotic arm? Decepticons shame me, for sure.
I really did love working on this, though and am extremely pleased with how it came out, and of course making you happy just makes it so much better!
I certainly agree with the improvements from the previous commission. It was kind of surprising because I still really think highly of that illustration for my digital work, so I wasn't expecting such improvements... then again, I would hope I'd show some improvement in a 2 year time span!
