Because you know how Ninjas and rabbits have this really bizarre relationship. Always trying to beat each other up! yeah, pretty sure I read that somewhere!

Thanks! Like I've said, I can only draw animals because I can't draw other things! But my cat and bird are constantly being sketched. Lynx is indifferent to it, but the bird kinda likes it. He LOVES it when any attention is paid to him at all!

But thats a good skill to have. My art teacher's always nagging me to draw more realisticly. She says I only draw anime cartoony stuff. This is true. But still.

And yeah, I used to draw exclusively in anime style. That was mainly because I wasn't good at realism, though! I just brushed it off, but lately I've been trying to improve to see if that improves the quality of my cartoonish works as well. Can't hurt!

Either way, just go with the style you love!

Yeah, she was the art teacher's favorite in high school! lol She's more into drawing, and I'm more of a writer, though. She's really good at drawing cartoons, but she's awesome at realism, too! She used to paint a lot of landscapes, but they were all taken by her psychotic mother... Aaaanyway, yeah, we're both pretty artsy, I guess! One reason that we became friends. We were the only two in our art class that actually CARED about art at all! lol

Sorry, I'm chatty tonight... But we were in the art club (she was president, I was vice president). We were the only two that ever showed up...

Yeah, I said "taken". As in, when Carlos moved out, her mother refused to give her the pictures.

And yeah, we collaborated a lot! We did this one project that was a giant oriental fan that could be mounted on the wall. We each drew half - I did a moonlit ocean scene, and it blended into her daytime mountain view. The theme was yin/yang, and we painted the wooden frame black and white... I miss that thing...

We also did a dragon sculpture, and a clay animation. Even though she was a year ahead of me, I was allowed out of class to work on projects with her while she was in art class! Our school was VERY lax about things like that... I basically got to go to art class twice in a day!

Yeah, haha. I am. But I'm not liking it very much.

Aww!! How cool! I wish I could do things like that! I did that once with my best friend, we did a paiting of Domo. But I did one hald of Domo, she did the other. But 2 separate pictures. In her picture, he was standing beside an apple. In my picture, the apple was eaten, only with the core left.

But so why won't she give those pictures back? That doesn;t sound very fair.. to me..

And that sounds so cool! I wish I could see it! lol I like pieces like that - you know, pictures that show the collective work of two or more people. I guess it's just nice to see people working together! I'm kinda weird like that...

I'm just not enjoying myself. That's it. Plus, my friends say I talk to much in that class to them. But I'm loud, I guess. (When it was Day Of Silence, this girl told me it was nice for a change that I wasn't talking. I mouthed the word "thanks".) && when they hold up a picture && say "how does this look" && I tell them it looks like crap, they get mad. When they asked. I'm not going to lie to them. Now whenever they ask, I stay silent. Or just ignore them. Recently, Tori always asks Abi how it looks, && vice versa instead of asking me, because they hate my opinions.
Anyway. Yeah. It's sad you guys can't get along.
(Also? I'm getting a really bad urge to paint Silver right now.)

You should do it! Painting's fun, and you're good at drawing him!

But I'm sorry to hear about that... If that's just the way you are, then I hope they can see that and not hold it against you or anything! I've known plenty of people who talk A LOT, and it's just part of their personalities. Besides, you could remind them that it's not like you're being rude or anything! Criticism is something that real artists appreciate, and it's good that you're being honest in the first place!

I have red paint, silver paint.. black.. all colors but skin color.. Oh well.

lol You sound pretty volatile! That's OK, I get pretty mad at Carlos sometimes. I'm nicer to you than I am to her some days! Though that happens when you live with someone... I'm always saying things like, "Close the door!" and "Shut that computer off!" ... and "Stop arguing with the bird!"

And I'm glad you're going to paint Silver! That'll be so cool! Oh, and do you have any yellow paint? You could always mix some orange, mix that with black to make brown, and then add white to lighten it for his skin tone. Then you could just blend it with the un-lightened paint for shading!

OMG what do you guys fight about?? o.o She's your husband. Jeez louise.
(Wait. She argues with the bird?) No, I get it. I actually like it when couples fight (no duh, like in WHTS >.>) Because it shows me that they're real, instead of being perfect 24/7. Maybe that's why I also, like reality tv. It shows me a different side of a certain celebrity. Unless its scripted..
Anyway, yeah. Good idea for the skin, thanks. I never knew how to make skin color. But I imagined him in my head for the past hour or so doing this cool thing with his hand.. like.. "scratching" something, but having nothing to scratch. Idk. Something epic..With like a fierce glare in his eyes.. idk. I hope I can make that come to life.

And yeah, we fight sometimes! Not ALL the time, because we generally get along, but we fight about some stupid stuff! lol We do sometimes have serious arguements, though; mainly about money. I agree with you - a couple that gets along perfectly is a couple that hasn't been together for very long! lol There IS a stage where it's like you're afraid to say anything inflammatory at all. Eventually, though, you get used to each other. It took us about a year!

And yes, she argues with the bird! lol See, Gamma (that's our cockatiel) likes to sing. In the evening, he SHRIEKS. Carlos is home in the evenings. And our place is VERY small and when he sings, we can hear him no matter where we are. SO, when Gamma starts shrieking, Carlos will yell at him to stop. Then Gamma shrieks louder. So Carlos yells louder for the bird to shut up. Then Gamma hisses at him and shrieks even louder, until they're BOTH getting on my nerves! lol
