Umm... I'm not sure what to say about this. I was just playing around with Corel Painter...
I was sort of thinking of clouds and the northern lights, but I don't think it really resembles the real aurora borealis. Maybe clouds, though!

Green! I always liked earthy colors. Orange, brown, green, etc. I'm not sure why.
