Description I just heard it in the film I recently saw, in Stranger Than Fiction and it didn't escape my mind...
I think 'the leaper' was a book's title in the text, but I concluded it^^

I wish I could have done it in a better quality... Those folds are crazy... how could I make a girl who's basicly floating through the air, with such wreched skirt folds?
I may redo it someday
And I also would like to do more poses of her leaping off other building tops, too :] You can always hope I'll never ever get down to it, though...

So okay, I can state, that I am not out of any inspiration, it's only that I can't draw what I want...

"The blood was all around her head like a halo. But her face was so... at peace" - right? (: I love stranger than fiction! And I love your drawing. (:

I found this while searching the net to see if there actually is a book called the leaper, as described in Stranger Than Fiction. Great picture.

The photograph was taken by Robert C. Miles in 1947 and has appeared in numerous publications over the years. If there is a specific book, I can't find it. Her name was Evelyn McHale. You can read about her and the photograph here:

It's such a heartbreakingly beautiful photograph.

Your style's really evident in this one. I like her face, hair and dress very much. But her face is my favorite part. The watercolor really gives it the right effect, as well.
