Okay, this subplot takes up most of Chapters 2 and 3, so bear with me:

So, Lyra knew her parents wouldn't approve of Bon Bon.

She and her friend Birdy cooked up a byzantine scheme--well, okay, Birdy's valet Greaves actually did most of the cooking--but anyway, the basic idea was that Birdy and Lyra would fake an engagement, then Birdy would "dump" Lyra, then Bon Bon would swoop in to comfort the "heartbroken" Lyra. Lyra's parents would then see Bon Bon's true worth and approve of their marriage.

Unfortunately, no one apprised Bon Bon of this plan.

This was a major oversight.

After I finished it and sat back and looked at it, I thought the same thing. I think Bon Bon needs special glasses, like Cyclops has, to contain her mighty rage.

You know, I'm not sure what song fits this image more. Ride of the Valkyries, or Night on Bald Mountain.... I'm leaning toward the latter.

In this case it's Bon Bon, but she does bear a resemblance to Sweetie Belle, doesn't she? Even similar hairstyles.
