Description This is a little one I made earlier in the year.
She was 2 inches tall and also had a little bird friend that's not shown in the picture.

sooo cool! What are the wings made out of?

The wings are made of wire, glue, and this stuff called fantasy film. Angelina film is a different brand of the same stuff. A need a lot of practice with wings still but here's a tutorial I've used if you're interested. [link]

She's adorable. How did you make her wings?

Thanks! Ah, the wings, it's pretty simple. There is this plastic stuff called fantasy film or Angelina film. It's like some kind of shinny shrink wrap. So what I do it make a skeleton for the wing out of wire and then glue the film onto the wire. After the glue is dry I trim off any extra film and then use a candle to shrink the film and shape it a bit more. I still need a lot of practice making wings but they're fun to do.
Ah and I found this tutorial that shows the process better then I every could. [link]
