lol no I figured it wasn't anything in particular, and just one of those feeling you get when you're reminded about something. But Kermit is always the first thing I think of when I think Jim Henson.

Yeah, I was thinking it looks very Labrinth and Dark Crystal-ish. And I agree, Kermit is definitely the face of Henson. And frogs are basically awesome.

i thought faun is a humanoid creature with lamb legs..

yes, goat or lamb legs. They are normally also depictied as being male, because of pan and the satyrs I think, but I just wanted to take the basic idea of the faun and turn it into my own creation.
This little figure actually does have animal like hocks and cloven hooves but they can't be seen in this photo.

A faun is half goat, half human. It's a wood spirit somtimes, other times creatures of the devil.
As with all mythological creatures, they can differ in features, from era to personal view.
Supposedly it has antlers and goat/deer ears and goat legs. And If you check out her other works, they do have all the above features.
