Good job on using different layers! Once you start using that method, it comes really in handy, since you can keep everything very organized
I like the design and overall tones here, and the brushed you used to paint the water. I would like to see more shades on the character and plant too- as you managed the water and sand in distance well!
I would recommend to be careful with the hands pose- her right hand looks lovely, but the left one against her waist is a little confused- if you're ever having difficulties in drawing then, try taking a picture of yourelf, or looking yourself in the mirror to see how it'd look like. It helped me a lot while learning!
