You really caught his personality in this! Good thing he changed it! He made up for things in the end of book 7 though I think.

Yes, yes we did! Remember - he showed up on Christmas day with Scrimgeour (but it was pretty much just an excuse to get the Minister close to Harry. Percy didn't seem too enthused).

Oh he's so handsome! That part where he sent Molly her christmas sweater back made me cry! But, I still hold out hope that he is under the imperius curse....I mean, he acted weird in the sixth book....plus, didn't he go against the Weasly's around the fifth book (after Voldie came out)? Hee hee....Voldie came out...maybe he wasn't imperiused in the fifth book, but he was during the sixth...I dunno, I kinda like Percy, for I too understand what it feels like to be the odd one out in the family. Plus, I still like him better than Ginny, who is a Mary-sue.

Sigh... I remember how much I loved Percy's character in the first 3 books. Somehow, I can't bring myself to like him all that much anymore. But enough of my ramblings. This drawing is su~weat!

I don't like what Rowling did to his character. I loved him up until-was it the fifth book? where he chose his work over his family. I never thought he'd do that.

The shading and lighting on this is just so fabulous.. I know it's just a work doodle but it just has such a nice polished pencil piece feel to it! <3!

Simple, yet there's so much emotion coming out of this, from the tilt of his head to the line quality. I especially love the use of shadows. An excellent job.

I always wondered, when reading the books, how Bill and Charlie could be so laid back, how the twins could be so miscevious, and yet how Percy could be stuck in between those four and not be some variation of the same. I mean, Ron has a pretty good sense of humor, and he's a pretty laid back kid too, when you get right down to it. All the Weasely clan save Percy have this honest, hardworking, but fun-loving character in some form, and I think that's why they're all so likeable (again, save Percy).
That being said, you got the "I'm hardworking, straight-laced, no-nonsense perfection in skin" vibe on Percy working wonderfully in this sketch.
