Heheh. Well it could have lots of interpretations.

What I had in mind when drawing it is that the commanding officer on the left is pretty much sending a very good friend to his death. This is them saying... goodbye.

cool ...headcanons are fun to play with. Deviantart needs more Protheans! Im so glad bioware finally gave us the 'official' design (retconning the 'cthulhu' faces to be inusannon not prothean - which i do believe was a good idea).. I've always wanted to draw something of that era but couldn't for the lack of reference.

I usually pick names for characters, altering the words of the Finnish language
now i'm writing the fanfic about Javik's past and... I was again faced with the problem of character names
