A moderately crowded Abiqua Falls on a very warm Memorial Day Weekend, 2017. I saw more humans here this time than I wanted, including one group who flew a drone over us the entire time. Luckily, the falls are so loud that it largely blocked out that annoying hum of the drone.

I took have been to this spot many times in the past decade or so and the number of people steadily increases. It feels both good and bad at the same time.

Yeah, it's definitely a double-edged sword. It's nice that these places are being seen by more eyes, but also really hard to watch the impact of so many more feet.
