Another from my Elakala Falls/Shays Run shoot from last week. This is Elakala Falls, the first one on the run, and a small swirl off to the side. The water is usually too high for me to cross over to shoot from this side, so this was a first for me.Elakala Falls #1 on Shays Run

The shot is amazing from the start... but then you get to that swirl... and WOW.
Even with the three days of rain we've had here, we're not really recovered at all in our streams and falls. The drought is killing me. So many of my favorite places are near death right now. BUT... i have so many gorgeous shots by you, Mike and Drea to keep me soothed. LOVE IT. You guys all rock.
