I had seen Blackwater Falls from both observation platforms on either side of the river countless times throughout my life. After finally hiking down into the Blackwater Canyon and viewing the falls from downstream, I will likely not be back to the observation platforms any time soon.In 2010, my favorite moments with my camera all happened at Blackwater Falls State Park in my beautiful home state of West Virginia. This shot is from my last hike there in late autumn. Next up? Snow shots.
