Description
This is for 's contest - If Detective Conan was a different genre! [link]Since I got to know about it very late and wanting to comply to the deadline 29th November, I have decided to do a simple traditional sketch, scanned with some minor editing with Paint Tool SAI and wording in Photoshop CS5 (I am such a n00b with PS).
My genre is Shoujo-Fantasy-Horror. The story goes, Shiho is a teenage witch (or mad scientist, whichever to your liking) who likes to collect dolls. Mind you, they are not ordinary dolls. They are dolls MADE FROM REAL BOYS! She feeds the boys with some APTX 4869 and poof! they turn into plushies! Muahahaha! (I am too short of time to flesh out the extended story, so the gist of it should do the trick)
Oh, and can you tell, her favourite plushie is Conan?
No, I don't hate Haibara, but this is an interesting idea, no? And probably because I want to draw the Fab 4 as plushies

You did. Perhaps, though, you could have used a more "horrific" font and some more aggressive lines, but the faces say it all.

haha, way to go on the contest entry. I forgot about her contest...oh well....its still the 29th...but I'm too busy working on a business card to take advantage of a sale (500 for $6.95). Nice concept and very well drawn. Even the overlayed texture fits in very well. Cool!

i didn't win, but it was quite an achievement since i think it was done hastily and i was kinda sleepy when i was editing that. had to finish it in the same night because i had work the next day. now working for another competition, maybe i am gonna create some OCs, finally!
