I've seen some of my friends are in this group and omfg it just looks soooo fun! So I thought I'd give it a go with my gal wichita!

"Familiar Spirit"
Familiar Spirit is a small occult store that sits on the bottom level of Wichita's house in Mystery Isle. In this store you'll find a strange collection of things such as healing crystals, tarot cards, oujia boards and the constant smell of burning incense among other interesting things. There is also a backroom veiled behind some purple hanging beads where wichita hosts clairvoyance readings, reads tea leaves and palms and performs rituals to speak to the other side. To reach this room you must make a booking for a small fee.

Wichita is not the kind of person to depend on anyone for anything, this can be a positive trait in the sense that she is her own person and gets things done, but she also at times distances herself from people and doesn't allow people to get to know her deeply very easily. She is however know as an extremely positive and friendly person and has no issue talking with most people, but like most introverts can only keep this up for so long until she's left very drained. The thing she really loves the most is reading and learning new things, especially anything related to the occult or the macabre. Because of her extensive reading into these subjects, she's also taught herself latin!
She can however be a bit of a know it all, and is constantly known to correct people's spelling/pronunciation and their facts. Despite her love of knowledge though she still doesn't own a smart phone! As she believes too much contact with electricity can muddy up your aura. She is also very rigid with her opinions, she believes what she believes and not much is going to change her mind. As she believes she has all the facts to prove it. However she isn't one to force her opinions on to others, and especially dislikes people who go out of their way to do that to her.
She decided to start her own occult store after many people telling her "she had the gift", she originally studied ancient cultures and languages at university with a sub major in cryptology. Opening this store just seemed like the next logical move for her, and the best way to share her strange gift and interests with the people around her.

  History:

Wichita once lived the busy city of San Fran Cisco. Her parents are both very well off intelligent professors, her father of psychology and her mother of anthropology both however were quite religious people and in a way expected her to be as well. She never really was, at least not in their way. Ever since she was a kid, magic & witchcraft drew her in. Her parents being progressive didn't sway her from these choices but allowed her to make up her own mind in life (they somewhat hoped however she would one day lean towards their choices). In her childhood she would always long for playmates as she had no siblings, but never really found any that sat right with her. She had friends of course! But never anyone closer than just friends. As she got older she became more content with her own company and began to revel in the time she could be own her own, drowning herself in her favourite books.

Once she reached high school her interest in the occult had begun to spur into a hobby, she read tarot cards to her friends and did their tea leaves at sleep overs. Her strange skills left her being quite popular during this time in her life, as she strangely enough seemed to always be right! There were of course the few people who would call her "wichita the witch" behind her back, but this didn't phase her as one threat of putting a hex on them seemed to quiet these rumours. Or at least stop them from being sad out loud. It was around this time she became very interested in the wiccan faith and despite her parents telling her it was a silly choice she began to study it further. Through this she learned that she could connect with spirits of those who had passed and even harness the healing energy of crystals.
During this time in her life she had a mentor, an elderly lady who lived on the end of her block who guided her through all things occult and mysterious. She spent most of her time after school with her learning how to connect with these growing abilities. This women also ran a small store doing reading and selling herbal spells and occult objects, this interested wichita extremely. Her parents were of course against this and these choices brought on many heated discussions and tear filled nights. The word freak, and weird being thrown around by her dad a lot. But as time went by she learned he was just afraid of the things she was learning so she simply stopped talking so much about it and without knowing began to push away from her parents.

She was always extremely intelligent and a fast learner, so after high school she was accepted to university where she chose to study ancient cultures and languages. Her parents at this point somewhat accepted her choices. They do tend to refer to her path as weird and a bit creepy and whenever there friends ask what she's doing they just say studying. They may accept what she does, but they sure don't like it.
Here she learned latin, and learned of the suffering witches had been though throughout existence and felt a pang of fear for the choices she was making. Once her course was done, many people wanted her to stay on do honours and become a professor like her parents. But this just wasn't for her. While she'd been studying her elderly friend and mentor had passed away, this in a way spurred her choice with what she would do with her life.

At that point she decided to move to Mystery Isle and open an occult store, and use her abilities to her fullest potential! This did mean l leaving her home, using all of her savings and distancing herself probably permanently from her family. It was tough but She knew she could do it. She read her own future and she's sure things will go well...

    Ability: Levitate: In battle it renders the Pokémon with this ability immune to damaging Ground-type moves (except Thousand Arrows) and the damage from Sky Drop.
    Moveset: Hex / Psybeam / Shadow ball / Confuse ray
  Pet: Glameow / Mira / F / A sleepy thin little pokemon, who is usually seen lazing during the day over the shops counter or window sill. At night however she can be seen hunting bugs and rummaging in the bushes. Clearly is enamored with wichita.
  Talents:  Clairvoyance & can turn her tongue into that weird loopy thing.
  Funfacts:  Can speak fluent latin the ombre in her hair in dyed.
