His personality may differ depending on who he meets, whether they’re a target for some quick cash or simply someone he would like to get to know. He is more sly and almost devious with those he cons though manages to make a living doing what he does without getting himself caught. He has a sense of carelessness for those whom he doesn't know very well, or at all, brushing off as more like a sociopath to some. He is quite difficult befriend, typically not getting along with most people.

Thallan was born of a forbidden romance between a dark elf and a human. Only a baby, his father was killed by a couple dark elf assassin from Reluir and he was to be lost in the Linhythe waters. Something in the dark elf just could not drop the cheerful baby boy into the cold waters. Against his orders, the dark elf bundled up the child in thick fabrics and left him on the doorstep of a large estate, figuring a noble family with money could have some empathy and care for the child.
And they did, he was named Thallan.
Thallan grew up with a privileged lifestyle among a human couple, though his mother was the more prominent figure in their relationship. She was unable to have biological children of her own and treated Thallan as if she herself birthed him. Father was constantly away in Koben on business trips, though was happy they had a son even though he wasn’t of their own blood. Although Thallan loved his parents, his home, and everything he had he was quite rebellious and had a temper he inherited from his birth mother. He was hard to handle but was always loved.
His mother grew ill, she had a terminal illness for some years now and her time was drawing close. Thallan was just a young teenager when she passed away in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by family and friends. His father grew distant after his wife’s passing, although he loved Thallan as well he struggled with staying home, often going away and staying away on longer business trips to keep up the lavish lifestyle he and Thallan preferred.
As a result of lack of parental supervision Thallan often got into trouble around Linhythe. He wanted to make his own money, his own way. He eventually got together with a much older human male, whom took interest in him. The man offered a substancial amount of gold just for some company and bragging rights to having a young half-elf. Thallan didn’t know the old man’s purpose for wanting a young half elf, he was young, naive and completely oblivious to his intention, we was only focused on how the man spoiled him with gifts and coin for anything he wanted.
Thallan ended up getting himself trapped in a dire situation, something he doesn’t show nor tell anyone. The old man ended up passing away under unusual circumstances and then Thallan fled back across the city to his own home again. He never spoke of what happened, and often acts as if nothing did happen.
Thallan became a little more introverted, he went back to his magic studies. He became weary and intimidated by the inner city people of Linhythe and this caused him to pick up studying to become a summoner.

Years later Thallan is now training under the supervision of a dark elven woman whom recruited him into a secret band of assassin for an unknown purpose. The woman only claimed they wanted to rid of the “scum” that plagues both the Empre and Kingdom.

► He has trouble trusting and making friends or companions, simply because his entire life was driven be deceit.
