K this is the pic i wrote about in my journal.there are errors with anatomy and probably other things...but i'm blinded by pride. i'm terribly proud of this picture. i used referencing for only two things. legs of the TI girl (holding binder/booklet) and the shirt/tie of male debater.
so from the left, boy/girl Duo, TI girl, Expos girl, boy/girl Policy debate. if you know S&D, then the props are self explanatory.
i drew it out from like 8 pm to 2 am yesterday, then inked it from morning until now (with breaks in between of course). but i'm really proud of this. probably because i'm getting more dynamic posing, and the bodies are more interactive. yeah i realize the anatomy is really skewed... but i ...like it? i dunno dawg.
but wait! one more special thing. I SCANNED IT IN. USING A SCANNER.
yes, that's right folks. we have a scanner now! happiness.

Edit: I'm getting a lot of comments from S&Ders!! If you'd please let me know what event you do and where you hail from? Just a fun bit knowing where the artsy S&Ders are at y'know?
For me...I'm now out of the S&D world, but I was in TI and Expos! Holla from CHSSA!!! (California)

Yay! Policy! I do like Policy, PF, and Congress. Last year I did Parli Debate too. From PA but I might go to nationals since we have no competition in the state. Love the way they dress and the bins, those things were heavy as hell! And me and my (Girl) partner would drop them all the time. I had to organize it too. Ugh I love you Policy!

Debate is my favorite event, too bad it isn't a main event for most people, its the usual A B events.

I saw the expository stuff and laughed. I'm in the STOA Homeschool Speech and Debate league in California, so I haven't heard some of these, but I recognized the Team Policy debaters and Expository speakers!

yup, there's two leagues that I know of. NCFCA and Stoa, and I think they're both based in California. This picture is amazing, I'm doing Expository, Duo, and Team Policy debate this year so I laughed when I saw this.

i love it so much! i like the guy from policy, he looks really cool! the pose of the expos girl is a little weird. but thats just me. but still, i really love it! will you color it? i really want to see it colored. if you need color pencils, i can let you use mine. oh, and just in case, happy new year!(early)

hahaha thank you sam! you know, the expos girl took me the absolute longest to do because yeah, i wasn't too sure how to pose her. So, she's well... uh, her back is facing us, but it's slightly turned, and her head is turned toward us... ehh i think the problem is her feet. As for coloring =/ i dunno, i usually don't color because it takes a lot of time to do... i've been trying to learn photoshop, and i think if i do color this, it will be cg'ed. thanks for the offer though, and happy new year to you too!
