Description The ø (resp. oe) is not an o, it actually doesn't have an English analogue.
It's roughly a combination between the vowels in birch and book.

And so we were back to the coast of Grøtfjord. This beach is from where I stood to gaze upon the ocean the first time I was in Norway.
Of course, the weather now was much too different, and I gotta say the sunlight painted a much more pastocal coastal picture.

But the mists on the horizon give Norway its mystical charm, no matter the time of day and year.

View over the beach of the small village of Grøtfjord, at the very end of the fjord.
The mighty mountainside to the right is the very westernmost slope of Rundkollen (557 m).
The part which is the farthest and steepest, is called Smørstabben and is over 400 m high.

Across the end part of Grøtfjord, these picturesque misty mountains in the sea are actually part of Vengsøya.
From here, on a clear day, the highest peaks of the island would be seen, but the mist has a charm as well.

04.10.2018, Brosmetinden (525 m).
