Thank you so much, dear friend! I like seeing him like that, but this is also what he feels like to me. I feel this power within him.
But yeah, it's pretty nice to draw on black paper - especially when drawing black siderians XD In any case, lighting effects come out really dramatic on it and in a much more intuitive way than on regular paper. And I'm addicted to lighting effects, lol XD
Also, I actually finished the drawing a couple of days later, lol. I did draw most of it on 25th though, just had to refine it some later. It always so happens that I discover flaws after I scan it.
P.S. About the Norwegian letters, I actually have Norwegian language (Bokmål) added as a keyboard setting on both the computers I use. Also handy when writing in Norwegian, lol. Otherwise, you can write it the old-fashioned way, where å actually was written as aa instead - so Håkan would be Haakan. Even if that doesn't look so right really :/

Are we the same person if we bought a black paper sketchbook a few weeks ago too? AAAHHHHH!!!
I actually still haven't used it yet, but just seeing this is getting me inspired to use it with my Prismacolors and pastels 8D.
Hrmm I remember seeing that character before in plenty of your friend's work a few times before, I don't quite remember their stories other than what I've just read from your description on this Håkan character.I find many of that Siderian feline creature art really cool and astonishingly beautiful with everything else, it seems all of them have a very interesting yet spiritually said background journeys that makes them who they are. I really like them ahh so fluffy too!

AHAHAH seriously?! XD That's amazing mate, ahhh, I am curious to see what you'd come up to and how black paper will agree with you :3
Yeah, he came strongly in Jayme's focus since last year, and a lot of things happened, especially when I went to visit them in Norway back in October.... and then when they came to visit me here, in Bulgaria this May/June. Håkan was trapped by the enemy, but we managed to help him out of there. But maybe better you read from the source, Jayme (FelisGlacialis) has written some of the story around his art:
Pretty amazing art, too, I totally agree.

Yes, he is in Hell now, safe and resting, feeling so much better and he grows stronger by the day. He is really restoring his powers, and that has a very positive effect on Jayme too. When I to him in June, I could barely recognize the faint being I had last seen back in October before. He was SO MUCH MORE powerful!
Mate, I know EXACTLY how you feel. At some point I realized I can't try love a human either. Then I just stopped even trying because all they ever brought me was a huge disappointment. Instead.... Well yes, you certainly can have a relationship of any kind with a spiritual being. In fact, I am in a relationship like that for what is nearly 5 years by now - and it's made me ineffably happy. In Jayme's case with Håkan though, it's not a romantic relationship, they are more like brothers.
Yes, I love these two as well.... though I love them all actually, it's difficult to pick favourites.... (And yes, you're correct. Well, strictly speaking, Lucifer has taken the form of a siderian there as well, but that's close enough to lion.)
Well, He certainly can take non-human forms, of course. The Demons as a rule can easily assume different appearance, they are very powerful and skilled in the spiritual ways after all. Lucifer is no exception. He does prefer to appear humanoid to me (for personal reasons), but generally He has the custom when He appears to a different being to assume a form that is more akin to that being. In a way, it makes it easier for other beings to perceive Him; and in a way, this is also His way to show respect for other forms of Life. That last is something very deep for Him.

Oh dear, well I hope one day the enemy shall be no more to hurt the innocent.
Definitely explains alot then.
On another note; do you use dark colours first or light colours to lay down first on black paper out of curiosity?

That's what we fight for.
On black paper, I always start with the darkest colors and built up to the highlights - pretty much reverse to what I do on white paper. Of course it's not linear and sometimes I add more dark colors later on, to make some areas more solid or add more detail / color in the shadowy parts. But generally that's the principle.
I also noticed that while I am keen on having a variety of dark colors and hues for white paper drawing, just the same I need a variety of bright colors for black paper. It's just curious how drawing on both is reverse in so many ways.

Ah so it's what I do on white as well, except I SLIGHTLY add the midtone colour base first before starting from dark to light. But your explanation will help me as well!^^

Hmmm.... what I meant for white paper is reverse - I draw from the light colors to the dark. Highlights are somewhat an exception because I give them special attention and finish them up last usually. But I generally go from light to dark on white paper because that's the way to grade shading and hues more effectively.
