well yes, but you can't class all manipulated photos like just that one! in a sense, that picture you linked to is two pictures put together with quite a lot of the two originals left. yours it one picture, but with not a lot of the original left.
And yeah, a lot of people do similar things to yours. But this is where DA is becoming a parody of itself where you cannot tell who's artists work is who's. At any given time there are at least 6 photos in the "popular" section which are exactly the same as this. Now, each artist should really have their own "thing" so that when you look at a piece, you think "oh yeah, thats so-and-so". Any one of those pictures could be attributed to you, or TrixyPixie, or any number of girls-with-cameras-and-a-[dodgy]-copy-of-CS3 As it is, everyone is unoriginal and there are only so many soft focus, black & white/sepia, photoshopped-to-hell emo girls we need.
I also think Adobe should do more to stop software piracy so less people can call themselves "artists" or "photographers" just because they found the "desaturate" option in Photoshop.

I agree with you, but I think you're getting the wrong person here. Lara's photography is very good in quality,a nd she uses manipulations to put feelings and textures into the photos.Although this picture seems like it is very manipulated, the original is still there, even though it has texture over it. Take a look at the rest of the gallery before comparing her to those people. These are not myspace photos.

I know LaraJade's work. I didn't just comment out of the blue.
Lara has admitted to me in the past that she is "not that great a photography", but I will not take away from her that fact that she really does know her way around Photoshop. Are there many people better than her at using Photoshop to get the effect she wants? Probably not that many. But are their better photographers out there? Yes. A lot.
