Watercolors (Nevskaya Palitra «White Nights» and Rosa Gallery) and white gouache on Hahnemuhle Turner paper 300 gsm, 25x32 cm

He was named as Bodya in our local shelter when found. He was covered with tar all over and was almost dying. The treatment was rather long, almost half a year to deal with the consequences of the tar, starving and all kinds of infections he cotracted while roaming the streets. It ws also difficult because the dog came out to be rather aged, about 8-10 years. He spent 4 years in a shelter until a family from Poland saw him on Facebook and adopted him. After he got to them, they changed his mane a bit and he became Bodzio. He has undergone a surgical operation there due to the peoblems with joints and has still to be under constant vet care due to his arthritis, but the family loves him very much and gives him all the possible love and care.
That's the comission for Bodzio's family, made after a photo on which they first saw him.
