Description A new series has begun!
After A Disney girl for every nation, where I tried to draw almost all disney female characters with the traditional costume of their countries , this is a series involving animated heroines from non-disney movies.
I decided to start from my favourite, the russian princess Anastasia. I studied (and I'm currently studying) russian language and literature, so this drawing means a lot to me! I tried to represent the russian spirit, with the well-know matryoshka and a peasant traditional red costume.

I love this! Anastasia was my favorite growing upo because it was a princess from my own nationality (I'm Ukrainian/Russia). Though Anastasia isn't a disney princess. She was created by dreamworks, other than that great job!

Just a fun fact for ya. Did you know that Anastasia was actually half Russian and half German? Her mom was from Germany.

truly exquisite, but also remember that Anastasia herself was the daughter of Nicholas and Alexandra (the final Romanovs before the Bolshevik revolution) so the only thing i'd consider is perhaps dressing her in the attire worn by the royals. But because she went "missing" (aka dead) and as the movie portrays her, alive and thriving though on the streets/orphanage, the clothing fits perfectly

Oh, I know it (I studied russian for 5 years ), but I wanted to represent her in russian traditional outfits, cause in this series heroines are representing their nations. By the way, thanks for your comment, I'm glad you liked my work.

На Воробьёвых горах находится МГУ? потому что я гуляля рядом с университетом, и помню какую-то гору... прекрасный вид! Но не помню называется ли Воробьевые горы...
