Description
This is the fourth and last part of the sixth spread in The Spectator, my newest altered book. When everything is revealed there is this laughing girl and a text snip expressing my new (cynical) philosophy. "No matter how thin you slice it, it's always baloney!" As I said, this is an autobiographical work.

This is the first time I have attempted a spread with so many interactive parts. I was inspired by the work of *hogret, *widdywoo, and ~myroski on a collaborative altered book project done for The Artful Dodgers Group here on dA.

My altered book is built upon a 1930 copy of the Sir Roger De Coverley Papers. The original book is a collection of essays published in a paper called "The Spectator." In my alteration, I kept the spectator motif, but put myself in the role of "The Spectator," looking at the progression of my life so far. My work on this book has thus turned into a sort of visual autobiography in executive summary form.
