Thanks. I collaged all the little bits and pieces to give a hint at the couple's long history.

This is so delightfully busy! Sometimes you need to say "The hell with minimalism!"

Well, I figured the figures in the frames looked like they had lived long enough to accumulate a lot of history. Hence the little pieces of paper documenting it.

Mailed to you today...so get thinking! I really do feel bad about the left hand page of your spread. You may have to add to the tape that is securing the photos of the people on my spread, and definitely cover it with something. You do have five frames on the right side of the spread, however, to fill. Am feeling the lack of my own brilliance today....

But notice their positioning on their relative seating apparatuses. She is close to his fame; he is on the far end of his frame. Going with the female relational element here! What would a piece be with my philosophies flowing all over it?!

I had all these ideas for using the cut-out frames in this album, and when it came down to it, I didn't have the skills to execute any of them except this one. A humbling experience, and a challenge to figure out new ways to do things! Glad you like. I have to say I was feeling good about the way this turned out. It's going to be an awesome book--it's going to Germany today.

Prefer this one, as I find the cluster of daisies and the big moves in part one distracting. Oddly, I find daisy head in this one hilarious.

The images hold together better as a spread in the book. But I hate trying to photograph stuff and try to make it look real. So it was off to the scanner for me, and since this book is big, I had to do the thing as two pages.

Well, let's call it "bittersweet." As you see, this "couple" has a lot of shared history. And I should point out that this "couple" is not a real couple, just two prints that I put in the frames of my make-believe "family"!
