I found this lovely singer/songwriter named Heather Dale, she has some lovely poignant songs based on the various versions of the Arthur Legend.Which consequently has thrown me into my Arthurian Story: Pendragon, full force.
As a result you get the four main characters. Branwen, Arthur, Gwen, and Lance. I'm actually quite satisfied with this little character study. So yay. . . Don't you just love mythology?

Branwen wouldn't happen to be the same one from The Mabinogion would she? Because it so, that's awesome. Also, love Arthur's design here. Usually I see him as blonde or brown-haired in his interpretations, so that's a cool alternate take.

I love the way you draw the Arthurian characters !
You're probably the only one who drew Guinevere as a young girl (in your previous pics) and not as a powerful "femme fatale" queen, and that's why I like your Camelot art more than any other
I agree that Arthur looks hot on this, but I think Lancelot seems a bit sick... I know you don't want him to be prettier than Arthur, but please give Gwen a reason to fall in love with him at first sight 
(hey, sorry if my spelling of the names isn't the same as your ; my own reference is Nancy McKenzie's wonderful books, did you read these ? I advise you to read them, they're really cool)

I compeletly agree with you on the Lancelot thing. I'm struggling with him, and continue to do so. I think I've worked out a little something and will certaintly post his face once I'm satisfied. Like Gwen it will just take time, me getting over my bias and what not.

I would like to draw Lancelot the way I want him to be, but I'm awfully bad in drawing guys so I wouldn't give him justice

This is obviously not Sir Malory's version of K.A. but he had way too much into blaming women for everything! But why does Lance have a cross? He was devout, yes, but still always put Gwen in front -- he was a man of worldly pleasures! ::winks::

Lance's head looks a bit small, but I LOVE them. So pretty. Branwen part of the old story or not, I'm pretty damn rusty on my Arthurian Legend...

lol Yes Arthur is hot, as he should be
No Branwen is not part of the old story, however I have a lot of celtic old religion/christian church in this storyand as such a needed a character that would be able to inbody that specific culture as well as foiling the carnal relationship with Lance and Gwen.
I'm not sure if I like Lance or not...my problem is I'm biased against him and can't bring myself to make him handsomer than Arthur so I don't know what direction to take his phycial look too....*shrugz*

I was re-browsing your gallery and thought of something else... cause isn't Lance actually supposed to be pretty weird looking? I remember reading somewhere in my research of the historical characters that he was really pretty short and haggard-looking, with a squashed face...but he was highly charismatic and that's how he won Gwen over.
Plus I'm totally biased against him too, so he shouldn't be prettier than Arthur.
